The Next Steps, Day 23

Enemies. When we share the message of Christ, we will create enemies. People will not like our message and they will disagree with what God is doing in our life. Read Acts 23.

As Paul was sharing the message of Jesus Christ, he made people mad. Many of the religious leaders were afraid that Paul was going to destroy their religion and all that they held dear. As a result, they plotted to kill him.

When we are following Jesus Christ we are going to make people mad. We must understand and accept that as fact. The question becomes, will that change how we we follow Christ? We can not allow anything to stand in the way of our following Jesus.
