Who is God? Day 10

God is Victorious. Read Nahum chapter 3, focusing on verses 16-19.

As we come to the end of this tiny, but amazing book, we see the prophecy of the final destruction of Nineveh. Ultimately, God is victorious. He is the one who will win. He is more powerful than anything else. Nothing can stand against him, not the people of Nineveh, not us today, no one.

As we learn more about who God is, we cannot look past the fact that in the end, God is victorious. He will win. It may feel like the enemy is winning for a time, but ultimately God is the victor. Everything has been in his control. He has the ultimate victory.

When we are following God, we understand that there are trials and suffering and difficulty for a time, but in the end, God is victorious. In the end, God makes everything right. God will judge sin. God will hold people accountable for the wrongs in their life and anyone without Christ will be destroyed. God is victorious, and we can celebrate that fact every single moment of every single day. Are we living the victorious Christian life through Jesus Christ every day?
