Faith. How do we live the life that God has for us to live? We live it by faith. Read Galatians 2:17-21.

But if, while seeking to be justified in Christ, we ourselves have also been found sinners, is Christ then a minister of sin? May it never be! For if I rebuild what I have once destroyed, I prove myself to be a transgressor. For through the Law I died to the Law, so that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.”

Christ died, not so that we would be better at living the way we are supposed to live, but He died because he knew there was no way that we would ever be able to live the way we are supposed to. He died so that we might die too and that because of his perfecrion, God raised Him up again and that is how we are able to live. We live by faith in the Son of God.

As we are trusting in Him, He allows us to live in ways that we never thought we would live. God is able to move and to work through us to accomplish His will, His way. Christ did not die to make us better. Christ died so that we could be completely change by grace through faith. We don’t deserve it and we could never earn it, but He gave it. Are we allowing Him to live His life through us, or are we just trying to be “better” people because of Christ? Through Christ, we are completely changed.
