Read Job chapter 2

VERSE:

Job 2:10–He replied, “You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God and not trouble?” In all this Job did not sin in what he said.

TRUTH:

Job’s wife wasn’t really a comfort during this time. She was grieving, too. She was angry and hurt and she didn’t understand why Job wasn’t lashing out at God like she was. Job reprimanded her and reminded her that we are to accept the good and the bad from the Lord. If we are going to say that we are truly followers of God, we should understand and realize that there are going to be times when we will experience great happiness in our circumstances and there will be times when we have great trial in our circumstances. No matter what, God is to be praise throughout as He is worthy of all glory, even in the difficult circumstances.

RESPONSE:

Father, I praise You and I thank You for all that You have done in my life. I praise You for the happy circumstances You’ve allowed me to experience and I praise You for the awful experienced in my life. You are worthy of praise for everything and I will continue to look to You no matter what comes today.
