Christian Devotional – October 26, 2012

VERSE:
Proverbs 10:9–He who walks in integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out.

TRUTH:
What do we do when no one is watching? Integrity is a characteristic that not everyone chooses to live with. We are to be obedient and strive to please God, even if God is the only person who is watching our actions. If we aren’t acting in integrity, then we are perverting our ways and according to this verse, our misdeeds will be found out.

RESPONSE:
Father, today and every day I want to walk in integrity. I will commit to live exactly as You desire. I will choose to be obedient to You in every area of my life today. I will not fear others seeing what I am doing or try to hide because I know that You are pleased with my actions.
