Read James chapter 2

VERSE:

James 2:23–And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed in God and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend.

TRUTH:

Abraham had faith and he acted on his faith. His actions were in line with his beliefs. As we are evaluating our own lives, do our actions line up with what we say we believe? Would we be considered a friend of God based on how we are living each and every day?

RESPONSE:

Father, I am Your friend and I will seek to live my life so that others can see that You are my friend and I am Yours. I pray that You will prompt me when my actions don’t line up with Your desires for me. I love You and praise You for all that You do.
