People’s response. When we are around people, how do they respond? Read Galatians 1:21-24.
Then I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia. I was still unknown by sight to the churches of Judea which were in Christ; but only, they kept hearing, “He who once persecuted us is now preaching the faith which he once tried to destroy.” And they were glorifying God because of me.

People did not recognize Paul. They had not seen him and he had been away studying for several years. However, his reputation was becoming known throughout the land. How did people respond to hearing the story of Paul? They praised God. They did not praise Paul, they praised God.
When we take a look at our life and all the things that people hear about us, how do people respond to us? Do they praise us for all the great things we have done? Do they praise God because of all the great things he has done through us? Or do they wonder whether we even know God at all?
Everything we do and everything we say should be about pointing people to God. People should never see us and desire to praise us for what we do. Every good thing about us comes as a result of God working through us. So, all praise should go to him. Are we pointing people to God today and do people praise God more as a result of us being part of their life?
