Who can be saved? Read Mark 10:22-31

This can be a hard question to answer, especially if, like the disciples, you have a pre-conceived idea of what the answer to this should be. The disciples thought that the wealthy, who seem to have everything, would have an easier time being made right with God. However, Jesus was trying to help them understand that the wealthy actually have a harder time because they are so used to depending on their own wealth.

What are we depending on to get us to heaven? Are we trusting in Jesus and yet still trying to do our own thing? Are we completely dependent on God for everything that we need? We can’t trust in anything outside of Jesus Christ Himself. Are we seeing and trusting in God for everything today.
