Journey Through Ephesians, #27
Stand. Nothing more and nothing less. We are to stand. Read Ephesians 6:11-12.
Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

As we saw yesterday, often we don’t have the strength. And even if we do, our strength isn’t enough. We need God’s strength to do the things that God has asked us to do. So, through his strength, what he asks of us is that we stand. We’re to stand firm, unmovable.
No matter what attack comes against us, we can be firmly grounded in Christ Jesus. Attacks will come. They will come from very predictable and completely off the wall places. We may be expecting the attack or we may never see it coming, but that doesn’t change that our response is to stand. God is the one who fights our battles for us. We do not need to fight we just need to stand firm in him and allow him to do what he does. Are we standing firm in him today?
