Christian Devotional – September 22, 2018

What is more deserving of praise, the art or the artist? The builder or what is built? This is the question God asks in Hebrews chapter 3.

For He has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, by just so much as the builder of the house has more honor than the house. For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.

The builder or the artist or the one who does the creating is worthy of much more praise and honor than the creation itself. Do we give God the honor and praise that is due Him, or do we spend our time praising the creation instead?
