Christian Devotional – September 28, 2016

Read Romans chapter 11

VERSE:

Romans 11:6–And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.

TRUTH:

Grace is grace. It cannot be earned or deserved, otherwise, it wouldn’t be grace any longer. Are we busy trying to earn our way to grace, not really realizing that grace can’t be earned. We need to bring ourselves to Jesus and just allow Him to take us as we are. He sees all that we do and all that we are and he still offers us grace if we are willing to just accept it. Will we accept the grace that Jesus offers.

RESPONSE:

Father, I praise You and I thank You for all that You do for me, including offering me Your grace. I know I don’t deserve it and I can possibly do enough to earn it. Yet, You have still loved me enough to extend Your grace.
