Devotional – June 14, 2011

VERSE:
Psalm 14:1–The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they have committed abominable deeds; there is no one who does good.

TRUTH:
If we are busy trying to be good on our own, then we are being foolish. No one is good outside of Jesus. Only a fool tries to live without God. Are we surrendering to God, or trying on our own and looking foolish to God?

RESPONSE:
Lord, I need You in every area of my life. Help me to not be foolish and try to do things on my own.
