Devotional – November 6, 2011

VERSE:
Colossians 1:9–For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.

TRUTH:
Every one of us face difficulties. When we hear of the struggles of others, do we pray for them? Not just a token, “Please God help them,” but praying without ceasing. Do we lift them up to the throne begging God to give people the knowledge of His will, wisdom, and understanding? The most we can do for people is pray for them.

RESPONSE:
Lord, I pray for Your forgiveness for not praying for people as You desire. Father, I lift up my brothers and sisters in Christ today. I pray that no matter what they face, they will have the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.
