Read James chapter 2 VERSE: James 2:11–For he who said, “You shall not commit adultery,” also said, “You shall not murder.” If you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker. TRUTH: As mentioned before, we must keep the whole law, not just a part of it. If we disobey even one part of if, we’ve become guilty of disobeying all of it. We must be sure that we understand the importance of all the Words that god has spoken. VERSE: James 2:10–For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking it all. TRUTH: The Bible states in Romans that we have all sinned and here is an explanation of why. Obeying God is an all or nothing thing. Either we are perfect and never do anything wrong in our entire life or, if we fall short just one time, then we are guilty of breaking the entire law.
