Christian Devotional – December 13, 2010

VERSE:
Genesis 18:32–Then he said ‘Oh that my Lord not be angry and I shall speak only this once: Suppose ten are found there?’ Then He said ‘I will not destroy it on account of the ten.’

TRUTH:
God told Abraham about the destruction that was coming and Abraham prayed. Abraham begged God to spare the city if He could find 10 righteous people. Do we pray as fervently for the lost?

RESPONSE:
Lord, help me to seek out and pray for people as fervently as Abraham did.
