ADHD Gospel, Day 55

God knows us. Read Mark 14:27-42.

We will often talk about the fact that God knows us. He created us. He formed us. He knows us better than we even know ourselves. However, what we don’t often talk about is the fact that even when God knows us, he still loves us and accepts us and wants us to be near him.

God knew exactly what Peter was going to do. Jesus understood that Peter would betray him and even still, Jesus invited him to come be part of the prayer session he was getting ready to go to. He invited to Peter to be near him during his darkest time.

God knows the very worst of what we are going to do and yet he still wants us near. He still desires to repair the relationship between us. We can’t do something so bad that God would send us away. Are we seeking the love of God? And all that he can do in our lives today, knowing that he knows us and that he still wants us around?
