Christian Devotional – November 11, 2010

VERSE:
John 7:18–He who speaks for himself seeks his own glory, but he who is seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

TRUTH:
When we speak, our words reveal a lot about ourselves and our motives. If we are seeking God’s will and His glory, then our words will be a direct reflection of those motives. If not, then our words will betray us.

RESPONSE:
Lord, I pray that You will help me surrender any motives that are not glorifying to You, then allow me to speak the words that praise and exalt You.
