ADHD Gospel, Day 50

Jesus, take it all. Read Mark 12:35-44.

Have you ever been a place where you I recognize that it’s going to take everything you have to make something happen? There have been situations in my life where I realize that it’s challenging and difficult and it’s gonna take everything I have to finish that race or to accomplish that goal.

When it comes to following Jesus, it will take everything we have. And coincidentally, that happens to be exactly what God wants. We will never truly understand how much we need God until we come to the place that we give him everything we have. That’s when we realized just how much more he is. The fact of the matter is that until we give God the totality of who we are, we will never understand the totality of who he is. It is impossible to realize just how much God is, just how incredible God is, just how much more God is?

You see we, in our own strength, in our own power, in our own might, in our own resources — we are nothing. God wants us to realize and recognize this so that we can appreciate and glorify him for everything that he is. He doesn’t need anything of ours, but as we participate with him and give him what we have, we have the opportunity to experience him. Are we giving everything we have to Jesus today?
