The Weeping Prophet, Day 48

Your relationship with the Lord determines your survival. Read Jeremiah chapter 48.

As we see here, Jeremiah gives a prophecy of destruction about Moab. They have defied and disobeyed God. They have gone their own way and not sought the Lord. As a result, they are going to be destroyed.

What we do has amazing and long-lasting consequences. The people of Moab had persisted in disobeying God and as a result, they are going to be destroyed. The same is true for us. Are we seeking after God or are we only focused on ourselves? The true answer to that question will have long term results.
