Psalm and Praise, Day 2

Does God laugh at you? Read Psalm 2.

When we read this chapter, we see that people were trying to stand against God. They thought they could stand against him and as a result, God laughed at them.

When we try to stand against God, it really is ridiculous when we think about it. We, our small, insignificant selves, thinking we can stand against the omnipotence God of the universe… that is truly ludicrous. God laughs that we think we could stand against him.

Are we standing against God? Is God laughing at us, or do we recognize God’s place (and our place) in the world.
