A Prayer for You, Day 16

Progress. Read Philippians chapter 3, focusing on verses 12-14.

This is a Prayer for progress. Even Paul, with all his spirituality, knew that he hadn’t arrived yet. We are all learning each day to be more like Jesus. Paul’s prayer for the people of Philippi was that they would learn to be more like Jesus every single day.

How are we progressing in our growth and Christianity? Are we learning more about Jesus and seeking to be more like Jesus? Do we pray asking for God to help make us more like Jesus? There’s nothing easy about the Christian life or the Christian walk. It requires that we move forward bit-by-bit every day. How can we take the next step to press forward today?
