The Encouragement Letter, Day 3

A need to know. Read 1 Thessalonians 3:1-5.

Paul has been writing about this history of his interactions with this church. Paul reminisces that he was worried about them. He wanted to know what had happened to them and how they were doing. He needed to know.

Sharing encouragement comes in many forms. Sometimes it is telling people that they are awesome. Sometimes it is reminding them to do the right things. And other times, it’s simply reaching out and saying “you were on my mind and I wanted to check in. Is everything ok?” God used Paul to be this for the Thessalonians.

Who is on our mind and heart today? Who do we need to check in with and just see how things are going? Make it a point to reach out to them today.
