Christian Devotional – January 19, 2013

VERSE:
John 9:2–His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

TRUTH:
Often when we see something wrong, we try to figure out who is to blame. We can get so focused on who is to blame that we don’t figure out how to move past and get forgiveness and healing. Are we focusing on God and His glory throughout each situation or are we only focused on the blame?

RESPONSE:
Father, I pray You forgive me for being focused on the wrong thing in situations. I will not get distracted by blaming but will always see how You want to set us free in each situation.
