The Voice of the Prophet, Day 12

Our salvation. Read Isaiah chapter 12.

One of the features about the book of Isaiah that I really enjoy is that interspersed through the judgments are these wonderful chapters of praise and glory to God. Isaiah understood that regardless of whether God is blessing or judging, he is deserving of praise.

We see God in all of his glory, and we recognize that he is our salvation. Without him, we truly would have nothing. This praise back to God is such a beautiful expression of love toward him. You see, God is our everything. God is our salvation. God is our strength. God is our defense. We can absolutely trust in him.

Are we taking the time to praise God for all that he is for us? Do we lift him up and share his goodness and mercy with everyone we meet? We are recipients of the grace and mercy of God and we need to tell the world so that they can understand just how incredible God is. What is our song of praise today?
