Leading Through Challenging Circumstances, Day 49

The dramatic reveal. Read Daniel 8:13-16.

I’ve seen several types of shows where, during the course of the show, a massive change or update has been made to something. At the very end, there’s this big, dramatic reveal, where they show the people all the work that’s been done. Everyone gets really excited. It’s about the incredible transformation that has happened.

For Daniel, this is a similar situation in that there’s going to be a big reveal. Daniel has been terrified by what he has seen. He doesn’t know what to make of the information that he has received, or the vision that he has had. Now God has instructed the angel Gabriel to tell Daniel what the vision means. There’s going to be a big reveal.

As we lead, often, we have to recognize that we don’t have all the information, and that we need people to reveal what we need. Not all reveals in our life are going to be as dramatic as having an angel swoop down and tell us the information, but every piece of information that we ever receive from God is just as important. God has chosen to reveal that information to us.

How can we continue to share God’s message? Are we prepared for God’s reveal of information to us? How can we continue to experience and understand God’s will in our lives better today?
