Devotional – November 30, 2011

VERSE:
Psalm 127:1–Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain.

TRUTH:
All our plans, all our works, if they are not led by God, they are pointless and meaningless. It’s not enough to simply ask God to bless the work that we already doing. We must be following along with God’s work in the first place. Are we allowing God to direct and build in our lives, or are we working in vain?

RESPONSE:
Father, I only want Your works and Your plans. I surrender all the plans I’ve tried myself and I pray for Your work and Your work only to be done.
