Devotional – October 1, 2011

VERSE:
Romans 8:35–Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

TRUTH:
The answer: none of them will. God loves us. No matter what we go through (and we will go through difficulty), we will not be separated from God’s love. His love for us is there in the midst of everything we experience. Do we have our hope and trust in God’s love?

RESPONSE:
Lord, You love me! When I go through hard times, difficulties, persecution, and every other trial of life, I will trust Your love for me.
