Devotional – September 29, 2011

VERSE:
Romans 6:1-2–What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?

TRUTH:
God’s grace is sufficient to cover all our sins, but that doesn’t mean we should use that as an excuse to sin more. Our lives in Christ are dead to sin and we don’t desire to continue it if we’ve accepted Jesus Christ. Do we desire the things God desires? God’s grace can cover everything we’ve ever done or will do, but our desire going forward is for Him.

RESPONSE:
Lord, You can indeed cover all my sins under You grace. Going forward, I desire to live in Your truth. Help me to die to sin today.
