Devotional – July 24, 2011

VERSE:
1 Corinthians 13:1–If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

TRUTH:
The tongue can be powerful in sharing God’s truths and words, but it must also be used to convey God’s love along with those truths. If we do not share God’s love along with God’s truth, we are only sharing a part of who God is.

RESPONSE:
Lord, help me to be bold in sharing about all of You: Your words and Your love. Help me to display Your love in everything I say and do.
