Christian Devotional – December 30, 2019

They were rejoicing. They were so glad when the star was back in view. Read Matthew 2:9-10.

After hearing the king, they went their way; and the star, which they had seen in the east, went on before them until it came and stood over the place where the Child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy.

They got the information from the king and were back on their way, but they were more overjoyed when they saw the star.

When we see God moving, are we overjoyed? What gets us excited? Why wouldn’t seeing God work and move make us completely overjoyed? The magi saw the star and knew that God was moving. Do we respond the same way?
