Devotional – June 12, 2011

VERSE:
Psalm 12:5–“Because of the devastation of the afflicted, because of the groaning of the needy, now I will arise,” says the Lord; “I will set him in the safety for which he longs.”

TRUTH:
The Lord hears us and will come protect and defend us. Do we cry out to Him in our needs? He promises to set us in safety. Our safety is only found in Him. 

RESPONSE:
Lord, only in Your protection am I truly safe. I pray that I will come to You first for every need I have.
