Devotional – May 18, 2011

VERSE:
Revelation 9:21–and they did not repent of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their immorality nor of their thefts.

TRUTH:
This is such a sad verse to me. Despite the pain and suffering they were experiencing, they still preferred to hold on to their sin instead of allow God to forgive and heal. Do we hold on to our sins, or do we run to the forgiveness of the Father?

RESPONSE:
Lord, I love You. Help me to turn over to You those areas where I am not obeying You. I want You more than I want anything else.
