The Coming King, Day 19

The Prince of Peace. As we look this week at God’s peace, we see that Jesus came as the Prince of Peace. Read Isaiah 9:6.

When Jesus came, it was foretold that he would be the prince of peace. God’s peace is found in everything that Jesus did. He was never frantic or hurried. He never was “too busy” for people. Jesus brought peace.

Do we have peace in our lives. Even more, do we bring peace to the lives of others through the way we treat them and interact with them? Jesus is the Prince of Peace and as we allow him to control our lives, we will find them more characterized by the qualities of Christ, like His peace.
