The Coming King, Day 18

Peace. Christ came to bring peace. Read 2 Thessalonians 3:16.

As we come to the 4th Sunday of advent, we are learning about peace. The peace of God can transcend all of our understanding and is only found through Jesus Christ. We have to allow God’s peace into our life. If we are not surrendered to the authority of Christ each and every day in our lives, we will not experience his peace. When we think about the peace of God, does our life represent that peace? Would others who look at our life characterize it as one of peace? Having the peace of God in our life means that is what is displayed to others. Are we displaying the peace of Christ today?
