The Message – #3
Our study today is on Isaiah chapter 3. After reading through the chapter, let’s focus on verse 8.
For Jerusalem has stumbled and Judah has fallen, Because their speech and their actions are against the Lord , To rebel against His glorious presence.
Isaiah 3:8 NASB

God is sharing with Isaiah and the people why he is removing their leaders from them. He wants them to understand why they are experiencing the decline that they are. They have left the Lord. They have made the decision to rebel against the Lord and not to follow Him. When they did that, He made the decision to cut them down.
Are we choosing to follow God, or are we choosing to rebel against Him? There really is no middle ground and either way, we make a choice. There is not a passive decision in this. We actively choose to either follow Him or to rebel against Him.
While we may think we have made a specific choice, what would other around us think we have chosen? Are we demonstrating our choice clearly and confidently to others?
