ADHD Gospel, Day 10

Reputation. Read Mark 3:7-19.

Jesus was getting to be really popular, but what was he known for? Unfortunately, his message of repentance and salvation was not the key feature that he was known for. Crowds gathered around and swarmed him because he healed people. He was able to provide physical healing that others could see and experience and that is why Jesus was so incredibly popular at this point.

Everyone wanted to be near him. Everyone wanted to see what they could gain from him for themselves. But, they were not listening to the point of his message.

Our reputation is created based on how other people view us. We have a say in our reputation, however ultimately, other people decide what our reputation will be What are we doing to try to influence what other people think about us? What do other people think about us? How are we seeking to ensure that our reputation is one that points people to God?
