Read Job chapter 31

VERSE:

Job 31:35–“Oh, that I had someone to hear me! I sign now my defense–let the Almighty answer me; let my accuser put his indictment in writing.”

TRUTH:

Job is concluding his statements and he feels unheard. He is reminding God that he still wants and answer and he wants to understand why all these things have happened to him. He desires to learn the reason for his suffering. We all do. Every difficult situation that we go through, we want to know why God chose to allow that to com into our life. Job is at the place where he is ready and willing to hear what God has to say to him and he has no more words to speak. Do we get to the place where we have no more words to speak and just waiting on God to respond? The sooner we get to that point, the sooner we will hear God.

RESPONSE:

Father, I pray that I will get to the place where I am ready to hear from You quickly. I want to know Your thoughts on things as they are much better than my thoughts. I pray that You will continue to move and work in me and help me to learn and to know all that You are doing thought me. I pray that You will use me to glorify Yourself no matter the circumstances.
