Christian Devotional – December 22, 2015

Read Genesis chapter 7

VERSE:

Genesis 7:16–The animals going in were male and female of every living thing, as God had commanded Noah. Then the Lord shut him in.

TRUTH:

As Noah had finished up making the ark, now it was time for God to do His part. God led Noah to go into the ark and then God filled it with all the animals that He had promised would go in. Finally, God shut the door. When God asks us to do something, He will always follow through on His part of the deal. He will keep His promises and work to make sure that those things that seem impossible, happen effortlessly. God is always able to keep His promises to us. Will we trust Him to do what He says while we do what He asks of us?

RESPONSE:

Father, I will praise You and thank You for all that You are doing. I will follow through on the commands You have given me, knowing that You will keep Your promises as well. Thank You for all that You have done for me.
