Christian Devotional – December 24, 2012
VERSE:
Leviticus 10:10–so as to make a distinction between the holy and the profane, and between the unclean and the clean.
TRUTH:
Many times, the lines between that is right and what is wrong become blurred and we have difficulty seeing clearly what choices we should be making. This occurs when we stop focusing on God and the things He has commanded for us. Instead, we start to bring other priorities into our focus and we make choices based on them instead of or in addition to God. We lose sight of the things we should be doing and as a result, we end up doing wrong.
RESPONSE:
Father, keep my eyes clean and the lines between obedience and disobedience clear to me. I will have no other priorities and I will focus on You and keep You first in my life. This way, I will clearly see the distinction between what is holy and profane. I choose today to follow what is holy.
