The Decay Within, Day 5

How do you summarize God’s message to the people? Read Amos chapter 5.

As God is continuing to share the message of the upcoming judgment of the people of Israel. We see that he is trying to remind them of the importance of following him. If the people will only repent and turn back to him, he would be willing to forgive them.

This is a reminder of just how important it is that we followed this simplest of commands, seek the Lord and live. We are incapable of having life outside of God himself. Only as we are seeking and following after him will we truly understand and live the life that God has for us. That is the only way that we can truly live. It is a very simple concept to understand, but very difficult to follow through on. Seek the Lord and live.

What does that look like in our life today? How can we live that out more fully for the next hour? We must be able to define these answers of allowing God to work through our life the way that he desires to.
