VERSE:
Galatians 6:9–Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
TRUTH:
Sometimes we get tired when we are doing good. It can wear us out and drain us if we are not focused on being renewed. We must work at not growing weary of doing good. Yet, we are commanded to not grow weary. Why? When we get weary, we are no longer effective in doing all the things that God desires that we do. We will reap the results in God’s time. We can trust Him for the best results as we rely on Him to recharge and renew us.
RESPONSE:
Father, I praise You for You are the One who lifts me up and renews me. I work to be obedient to You because I love You. Keep me focused on You, not the work so I won’t grow weary. I will wait on You and Your reward.
