Praising the Word, Day 20

Be my defense. Read Psalm 119:153-160.

We can end up going to a lot of trouble to try and defend ourselves. Then, we’re often not very good at it! We are focused on the wrong things and we’re not always very effective at trying to accomplish our goals. Ultimately, we need a solid defense.

We aren’t any good at defending ourselves and we need God to stand in the gap for us when other accuse us. So, we need to ask ourselves, are we vocal enough about our faith that others would accuse us of being Christians and if so, do we allow God to defend us?
