Avoiding the Rollercoaster, Day 20

Turnover the Sin. Read Judges chapter 20.

Yesterday we read how terrible the sin was of the people of Gibeah. It was one town, and yet the entire tribe of Benjamin made the decision that they would not cleanse the sin from within their tribe. They would not turn over that city to be judged.

When we are confronted with our sin, we have to relinquish it. We cannot truly repent and allow God to work and move in our life if we are holding on to the sins that got us in the position we’re in in the first place. We have to allow God to work in our lives. We have to allow God to cleanse our lives. That is the point of repentance.

Will we avoid the rollercoaster by allowing God to do the work that needs to be done in our lives to clean us up and make us more like him?
