Christian Devotional – January 12, 2018

Are some people worse than others? Do some people sin more completely than others? The people in Jesus’s day won greed that. They had heard about some different situations and they thought those people were worse than they were. Reading through Luke 13:1-20 we see Jesus make this statement 2 times.

I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”

The people he was talking to seemed to forget that we are all sinners. We have all messed up and fallen short of the glory of God. We all have need of a savior. We must get past thinking that some people are good and some are evil. We are all sinners in need of God’s grace. We are all in need of repentance and forgiveness. Will we repent and come to Him today?
