Christian Devotional – January 13, 2018

Are we truly a follower of Jesus? Do we know and understand what it means to be surrendered to Him and all that He is? As we read Luke 13:22-35 we see:

Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets’; and He will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you are from; depart from me , all you evildoers .’

There will be people who think that they have been serving God, but they find out that they have not really known Him. Do we really know the One we claim to serve? Do we recognize when there is wrong teaching? Can we understand and do what He would do in situations and circumstance? Do we reflect our Savior to others? And does our avior know us and do we truly know Him?
