Read Psalm chapter 19

VERSE:

Psalm 19:7–The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.

TRUTH:

The Bible, this amazing book of God, provides us the words of life. This verse and the ones following it, show some of the ways that God’s Word impacts us. It refreshes us and makes us wise. In the following verses, we see that it also gives joy and refreshing. Do we feel that we are lacking any of these? God’s Word is the answer to those needs. We must seek out God’s words for ourselves so that we may experience the blessing that God has for us.

RESPONSE:

Father, Your word is so many things and it provides so many things. I will seek You and Your Word, for only through it will I find refreshing and joy in all that I do.
