Christian Devotional – July 15, 2013

VERSE:

Jeremiah 16:17–My eyes are on all their ways. They are not hidden from me, nor is their sin concealed from my eyes.

TRUTH:

Sometimes we thing that we can keep things from God. We try to hide our sins and wrongs from Him and just pretend that no one know. However, God know and sees all that we do and think. Our ways are not hidden from Him. We are only fooling ourselves. Since nothing is hidden from God, are we admitting to God the areas and times that we have failed Him and seek His forgiveness and restoration. He knows all we have done anyway.

RESPONSE:

Father, even if no one else around me know what I think or do, You know. I will trust You and lift You up. You seek me and desire me even with the things that I do. I will confess these to You and will not try to hide from You.
