Read 1 John chapter 5

VERSE:

1 John 5:6–This is the one who came by water and blood–Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies because the Spirit is the truth.

TRUTH:

Jesus Christ is God and that was demonstrated throughout His entire ministry, but specifically at His baptism (water) and crucifixion (blood). At both of those events, the Spirit testified in remarkable ways that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. Do we believe that Jesus Christ is fully and completely God while being fully man?

RESPONSE:

Father, I know that You sent Your Son Jesus to be fully man and fully God and that the Holy Spirit has testified to that truth over and over again through scripture. I pray that You will help me see more clearly today Your truth so that I may testify of the truth of who You are.
