Christian Devotional – June 15, 2019

Worthy. Jesus Christ is worthy of all things. When we see Him, do we truly understand how great he is and how unworthy we are? Read 1 Timothy 6:15-16.

which He will bring about at the proper time-He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of Lords, who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.

Jesus Christ is everything. He is the one who is blessed. He is the king of kings and the Lord of lords. He is the one that God has exalted above all and we have an opportunity to know him and to understand and be part of him. Do we truly recognize and appreciate the position that Jesus Christ holds in the universe? Do we understand how we compare? It can be easy to think that we are amazing and special, and we are, but it is because we are in Jesus Christ.

God is the one who makes us special and unique and gives us a value. Through him we have all of that, and outside of him we have none of it. Jesus Christ is worthy of all that we are and all that we have. Do we recognize and worship him the way he deserves to be worshiped?
