The Essential Jesus, Day 60

God is with us throughout all that we do. As we read day 60 of the Essential Jesus reading plan on YouVersion.com, we see Jesus performing a miracle in Matthew 21:18-22.

This is a difficult miracle to understand. Why does Jesus curse this tree? What we learn is that God answers prayer. As we see that God answers his prayer, Jesus reminds us that God answer our prayers. When we are thinking about all that God has done for us, we have to remember that God is seeking to glorify Himself. Are we bringing our needs to God? Do we pray?
